Taken on a cold and atmospheric morning in early January in beautiful, soft light. The magnificent red deer stag and his hinds looked like they could have been in a Scottish Glen, rather than a London park.
The deep red feathery Winter branches of these willow trees always catch my eye when I walk along the brook.
Taken on a cold frosty morning in February 2019. This is a section of the Beverly Brook that I am particularly fond of. I love the repetition of the shapes of the willows on the left of the image, and the way they slump against the bank of the brook. On this particular morning the mist really billowed up with the first rays of sun, but the water was still in shadow and kept it’s cool blue tones.
